Born and raised in Hong Kong, she discovered her enthusiasm for piano at the age of six after attending a piano recital. Throughout her adolescent years, she received formal classical piano training. Her passion for piano teaching started when she was a teaching assistant for the community music school at BYU- Idaho. To Mandy, piano lessons are more than theories and techniques; they are enhancing experiences that contribute to a student’s personal development. She finds so much joy when students have fun in lessons and their desire for learning increases.
Mandy started accompanying choirs and playings at church when she was 13 years old, It did not take long for her to discover her love for accompanying. She continued collaborating with vocalists, instrumentalists and choirs in college. Her original plan was to be a stay-at-home mom after moving to Georgia. Incidentally, she found out that UGA offers the collaborative Piano graduate program, and something inside her exclaimed “This is is the chance to chase your dream!”
To Mandy, collaborating with another person and teaching piano are magical and soul-fulfilling callings. Mandy Enman Piano Studio LLC was established in 2016 in Utah, and is now relocated in Georgia. In Mandy’s free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, 3 children, practicing yoga, and cooking Asian cuisine.
